What we believe

  • We believe in the Trinity: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit. The three exist in community and possess equal power and authority.

  • We believe the Bible is the living word of God. It is infallible, authoritative and everlasting and is the foundation of all Christian doctrine.

  • We believe that God is our Father. Being children of God, we will receive an inheritance of His love and grace. He is loving, compassionate and faithful to His people and His promises.

  • We believe Jesus Christ is the Son of God. We believe in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His victorious and atoning death, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, His intercession and in His imminent return.

  • We believe in the person and work of the Holy Spirit with His truths and gifts available in the Church. We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit as a gift available to believers, which is demonstrated by speaking in other tongues.

  • We believe that acceptance of forgiveness and salvation through Christ's finished work on the cross allows us to spend eternity with Him in Heaven.

  • We believe that people are made in the image of God. We are created to be in fellowship with God, but sin has separated us from the Father. As a result, we cannot obtain right standing with God through works. It is only through grace that we can be reconciled to God.

  • We believe that all have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. In the spiritually lost condition of all people, there is an essential need for new birth by faith in Jesus Christ.

  • We believe the church is the hope of the world. The church is the community of believers gathered and the community of believers scattered. The mission of the church is to share the good news of the gospel and display the glory of God
